Text: Larson, R. & Hostetler, R. (2007). Trigonometry 7th edition. New York.: Houghton Mifflin Co. . Calculator: A graphing calculator is required for several aspects of the course and recommended for many others. Although no specific brand or model is required, a TI-83 is sufficient. Newer, more powerful calculators are available, but not required. I am familiar with the TI-83/TI-84 series. You will need to learn how to use more advanced versions. Buying a calculator through the Internet is often a cost effective approach. Note that calculators on phones or other electronic devises are not considered calculators but phones or other electronic devises, which are not allowed in the classroom according to school policy.
