Mr. Reimer's
Exploring
 Algebra & Geometry I

Text:  Carney, M. et al. (2008). Algebra Readiness .  Boston:  McDougal Littell.

Textbook website:     n/a

Calculator:  Calculators are not allowed for much of the year.  This is to support the remediation of basic calculation skills and number sense which are usually lacking in Exploring students.  Periodically, for specific lessons, calculators will be used.  However, I recommend that calculators be used as a tool to check homework, not to do it.  An inexpensive calculator is sufficient for the needs of this course.  Note that calculators on phones or other electronic devises are not considered calculators but phones or other electronic devises, which are not allowed in the classroom according to school policy.
