     Math Skills (half period class)

Students that need to build up their mathematical foundations have been assigned to a Math Skills half period class.  Students were identified through their state-wide standardized test results. 

In this short time frame we work on the following:

• Use the Aleks computer program.

• Go over and practice topics of general weakness.

• Answer student questions about quiz / test questions they got wrong.

• Answer student questions about confusing new concepts or homework problems (although this is NOT a session where homework is completed).

• Another opportunity to take/retake quizzes/tests

No grade is provided; however, a comment in the online grade book is supplied.
