Mrs. Krone's Homework Policy
∙All assignments are due the next day unless otherwise specified.
∙Students earn:
10 points - if the assignment was completed to the best of their ability.
5 points - if the assignment was partially done.
0 points - if the assignment was not done.
8 points - if the assignment was handed in late (students were in class, but did not do the work).
∙Deadline for late assignments -All homework assignments for a chapter must be handed in before the test for that chapter.
At the end of every chapter, the student receives a homework grade for that chapter. This grade is calculated by dividing the number of points the student earned by the total number of possible points, and then converting that decimal into a percent. If a student earned an 80% or better on his/her homework grade, the student will be awarded 5 extra credit points. These points will be added to the test grade.
If the student earned less than 80%, I write the homework average on the test. In summary, students should see either "+5 HW" or "HW avg. (insert percent)" on their test paper.
